Two Letters by Fidel Castro: (1) Fidel Castro's February 2008 letter of resignation as dictator of communist Cuba,   (2)  Fidel Castro's November 1999 letter to a "highly respected friend" in Seattle, a friend Castro considers a man "of honor and integrity."  (OMED: Sent to us by Steve Beren, who lives in the Seattle area, and is running for  a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.)

GM exec stands by calling global warming a "crock"

This one made Drudge and the major conservative talkshows.  Bob Lutz is being hammered by the liberal blogosphere for daring to express his opinion.  The same liberal blogosphere's reaction to the riidiculous New York Times front page attack on John McCain is, we'll call it, distinctly mild by comparison.  Mr. Lutz, unlike the NYT, is correct.  The demands of whacko leftists concerning the automobile are all based on the premise that Man is causing a climate change which endangers the world.  The only Man-caused threat the planet faces is the politics of the Left.   (External link )

The Winter of '08 was the coldest one in 20 or 30 years.  "Experts " say it was due to global warming.  How long will the people of America continue to believe this baloney?

Deepest Snowpack in Cascades for a Decade    January 30, 2008 -- Extreme weather is due to Man-caused Global Warming.  Too warm, too cold, too wet, too dry, too much snow, too little snow -- it's all caused by the same thing. To avoid being jailed for participating in this crime, you must trade your pickup for a Vespa, quit objecting to continual tax increases, cease criticizing tree-hugging hippie whacko environmentalists and, above all else,  stop exhaling.   |   Senator Inhoff's Global Warming Challenge   (External link.)   |  Denver Breaks Record For Snowfall On Christmas Day    |  Organ Transplants With No Rejection    Scientists have created a beating heart in the laboratory in a breakthrough that could allow doctors one day to make a range of organs for transplant.            PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
How are they really doing?
Delegate numbers will decide which of the candidates get the nod.  If nobody gets the designated amount to win the prize outright at the party convention, they use their delegates as bargaining chips and make a deal.  The links below will take you to Wikipedia pages which are often a few days old, but going to the RNC and DNC pages will leave you searching for the data.
