Hyland:
Goliath 3, Oregon 0

Some of you recall a nuclear power plant down towards the mouth of the Columbia River. Oregon Liberals (most of the voters west of the Cascades) while admiring "progressive" European nations who were spending themselves to death with their social welfare programs and government union pensions, did not care much for the power solutions of same -- namely the PC-incorrect stuff known as atomics that France, to name one example, used to keep the lights of Paris shining at night. Apparently, these folks don't like natural gas, either. Art is running out of patience with the Oregon Approach to things.

Obama/Reid/Pelosi: The End of an American Free Press?

They're trying to "fix" the information you receive by subsidizing the mainstream media -- in particular, the failing liberal newspapers of America. Our question is: Are the Citizens of this Nation Brain Dead?

Venezuela govt to seize 11 US-owned oilrigs... (x-link)
This has ties to Obama's recent okay of a major oil development loan to Venezuela and financial manipulations by George Soros. In a word, it stinks. Check out our July 2010 editorial.
$4 a gallon gasoline?

(Some items held over from June, below)

Oregon Gas Tax repeal petition: A 25 percent increase in the tax on every
gallon of gas you buy? Considering the state's unemployment rate, that should help.

A Fred Delkin review. The subject is sports, and something more.

Held over >> Delkin reviews a book about the gigantic climate scam:

Global Warming? Author Debunks Current Claims
Amid all the political excitement being stirred up by President Obama's 'Cap & Trade'measure he wants to shove through Congress, a new book, Climatism, by Steve Goreham, should be read as a complete discussion of the science, politics and the energy policy implications of the global warming debate. Goreham, an engineer with an MBA from the University of Chicago, asks very pertinent and informed questions.
