Regarding 2012 A.D.: How did the Mayans know the re-election of Obama could cause the end of the world?.
   News, articles, essays & comment
Congratulations to Senator-Elect Brown
January 20, 2010 -- Massachusetts, a state where registered independents and Democrats outnumber Republicans perhaps five or six to one, filled the vacant senatorial seat once occupied by Ted Kennedy with a man who campaigned against the Obama/Reid/Pelosi healthcare monster. This is the second time in American history that a tea party from those parts has kicked a tyrant in the shins. (LL/OrMag)

Harry Reid Compares Opponents of Health Care Reform to Supporters of Slavery... Oh, really?  A Democrat who pretends that by political party he has historic connections to American Civil Rights?  The editors of Oregon Magazine dare him and the millions of Oregon liberals to read this: Ken's "Congress"

Nancy Pelosi tells the truth:

(As reported November 6th) Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the speaker will not allow the final language of the health care to be posted online for 72 hours before bringing the bill to a vote on the House floor, despite her September 24 statement that she was "absolutely" committed to doing so.

Oregon Senator Votes for "Baucus Bill"
October 13, 2009 -- Ron Wyden of Oregon is on the Senate panel that is considering the so-called "Baucus Bill," today.  By the time you read this (in fact, probably by this afternoon) he will have voted for it. The Congressional Budget Office CBO), touted as an "independant, non-partisan" evaluation body, has said that this "bill" will insure the uninsured and lower the deficit.
