GB Finds Secret Tape from America-Hating Union Bash: (x-link from The Blaze)
Did Leftist Econ-Terrorist Have Access
to Obama's White House?

In brief, at a large meeting attended by Big Union Democrats, this man proposed a plan to bring down the
U.S. stock and bond markets by targeting home real estate investments of a giant American bank.  The plan
is to organize "under water" home owners into a million-family cessation of making the house payments.
It takes a year to evict non-payers, so the loss of that income would bring down the giant financial
institution -- and with that collapse, cause a general financial collapse in the markets.  This is about the
man who delivered the message at that meeting.  GB's point is that if this man is connected to the
Obama Administration, he has cover and protection.  Most retirement programs, including union
retirement programs, are heavily invested in private stocks and various bonds.  This means union
members are funding the blade that will cut their own financial throats.

Atlas Shrugged Movie is Raising Cain

Who is John Galt?

March 22. 2011 --  Ayn Rand’s epic novel, Atlas Shrugged, is finally coming to the silver screen. Whether you’ve read the book or not, you won’t want to miss Part 1 of the film, which debuts around the country the weekend of April 15-16-17th.  So far, the nearest confirmed theaters are in the Seattle area. You can help bring it to Portland, or a theater in your city, by “Demanding” it at the link below. The book was published in 1957, but the producers of the film have wisely set it in 2016. This way, Americans can see what’s coming if we don’t turn around the collectivist government in Washington.

It’s a great story, and a powerful warning. Don’t miss it.

OMED: Many early pieces in Oregon Magazine were written in a version of Netscape
Composer that in modern browsers produces black diamonds with reversed question
marks inside them.  These are almost always quotation marks, apostrophes or dashes.
When you see text that contains those black diamonds, it means I haven't gotten around
to repairing the problem, yet.

Lastly, all of our early work URL suffixes were "htm."  When the computer gods decided
to change those to "html," problems arose,  but changing the suffix from one to the other
may make the page you want available
.
